1. Take I-40 to Greensboro
2. Exit 220 South to Asheboro
3. Just as 220 narrows to two lanes (past the Candor Exit) turn to the left (Sand hills Research Center)
4. Straight -- County Road 1003
   1. at dead end, go left 100 yards
5. Hoffman. Turn right on US 1
6. 3 Miles. Pass Marsden Church on the right.
7. Turn left on 1001 across the railroad tracks
8. (At every stop sign except 1 go right.)
9. At Laurel Hill you Take US 74 East to
10. 701 By pass at Whiteville.
11. 130 (Kangaroo - left) to Shallotte.
12. US 17 south for 4 miles.
13. OIB road to Beach
